CSC merit scholarships

CHENNAI: CSC Computer Education, which has been offering "scholarship under merit scheme" for the past 11 years, has called for applications from eligible candidates.

The merit scholarship was introduced to motivate deprived students to start their career in computer education, and undergo several courses offered by CSC in the area of computing and information technology.

Economically weaker section students can pay tuition fees in easy instalments.

For availing themselves of the scholarships, students can use any one of the mark sheets (e.g. A Postgraduate student can use any of his marks scored in standard X/ Plus-Two/ Diploma/UG/PG, whichever is higher).

Those who have above 85 per cent in standards X, XII, or in UG or PG can get up to 75 per cent scholarship; those with 70-85 per cent can get 60 per cent of the course fee as scholarship; and those having 60-69 per cent aggregate get 50 per cent scholarship for the courses.
