BANGALORE: Aspinalls and Arturo pleased when the horses were exercised here on Monday (Aug. 29).

Outer sand:

800m: War Head (Rajesh Babu), Hold That Tiger (Noorulla) 58.5, 600/44.5. They finished together. Splash Of Class (Srinath) 57, 600/44. In fine condition. Arturo (C. Alford) 54, 600/41. Moved fluently. Purusharth (rb) 59, 600/45. Urged. Forespe (Harish) 57.5, 600/44. In fine trim. Overdrive (Harish) 57.5, 600/42.5. Moved well. Asterisk (rb), Ardennes (C. Alford) 57, 600/44.5. Latter finished three lengths ahead.

1000m: Absolute Black (Rajesh Babu), Pretty Queen (Noorulla) 1-14, 800/57, 600/44. Former moved better. Infinite Glory (Mandeep), Lindsay (Srinath) 1-16.5, 800/56, 600/43.5. Former was handy, while the latter was pushed to keep up pace. Aleksei (C. Alford), Exclusive Affair (rb) 1-11, 800/55, 600/43. Former showed out.

1,200m: Auberge (S. Marshall), Saratoga Sizzle (Gallagher) 1-30, 800/58, 600/45. They worked well.

1,600m: Aspinalls (C. Alford) 1-55, 1,200/1-24, 800/55.5, 600/43. Pleased.

Mallya re-elected

Vijay Mallya was unanimously re-elected President of the Indian Racehorse Owners Federation (TIROF) at the federation's AGM held here on August 25, according to a press release of the TIROF.

The new office-bearers: President: Vijay Mallya (KROA); Executive Vice-President: Md. Javeed Ghatala (TNROA); Vice-presidents: G. Prabhakar Reddy (APRHOA), K.R. Swamy (KROA) and M.L.
