Vasavi Prosoft to scale up operations

HYDERABAD: Vasavi Prosoft Transcription Ltd, a Hyderabad-based medical transcription company, is exploring options to hire more transcriptionists for scaling up its operations. The $1 million turnover company, which at present employs a workforce of about 150, has signed contracts with U.S. firms. The Managing Director, Pydah Venkateswara Rao, said the company would require 400-500 more personnel over the next couple of years. It was planning to ramp up its training facilities besides considering outsourcing as a strategy to cultivate vendors and nurture their success.
