Ganeshotsavom begins from September 7

The Shiv Sena will launch its celebrations for `Ganeshotsavom' on September 7 with the installation of Ganesha idols in different districts. Prior to this, the idols will be taken out in a procession in these areas.
Pallikkal Sunil, Sena spokesman, told mediapersons in Thiruvananthapuram that 32 types of idols ranging from 5 ft. to 20 ft. have been readied for installation at various centres. These include the idols of `Mahaganapathy', `Sidhi Ganapathy', ` Nritha Ganapathy' and `Taruna Ganapathy.' In Thiruvananthapuram district alone, the idols would be installed at 1,008 locations. .
