ERODE: A five-foot-long snake (Kattuvirian), which entered the All Women police station, situated on the crowded Pannerselvam Park area, on Wednesday created anxious moments for the visitors as well as the personnel. The policemen, who were called in, killed the reptile after an hour-long search. Meanwhile, the all women police created a record of sorts by settling a case within two hours.
Complaint lodged
A woman had complained that her married daughter preferred to stay with another woman in Bangalore. The two women came to the station with members of Bangalore-based Human Rights Wing and gave statements that they preferred to stay together. The police agreed to their request.
