PALAKKAD: Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president Ramesh Chennithala has said his party will have no alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the local bodies elections. Talking to mediapersons here on Thursday, the KPCC chief said that ``if any of the party units or candidates enter into any sort of alliance with the BJP, action will be taken against them. The Congress and the ruling United Democratic Front (UDF) will not have any alliance with the BJP, the CPI(M) and the Democratic Indira Congress (Karunakaran) in the local bodies elections.'' Mr. Chennithala said the CPI(M) which was ``entering into an unholy alliance with the BJP in the State through P.C. Thomas'' was running a false campaign against the Congress. But the unholy alliance will not help the LDF to win the elections as it will loose its secular votes.
