Woman held on stealing charge

HYDERABAD: The Ramgopalpet police on Thursday rounded up a woman Madhulika, 22, who allegedly took away mobile phones from two persons after diverting their attention. Hailing from Mumbai, the woman came to Hyderabad a month ago in search of a job. "Fluent in English, the fashionably dressed woman would ask victims to lend their phones saying she had to make an urgent call and walk away with it ," the Ramgopalpet police said.
