Traffic curbs in view of Ganesh idol purchase

HYDERABAD:
In view of a large number of people coming to Dhoolpet to buy idols for Ganesh festival, the Hyderabad police announced restrictions on traffic movement from September 5 to 7.
No vehicle will be allowed from Prakash Theatre (N.N. Tailors) to Gandhi Statue at Puranapool via Mangalhat police station and from Gode Ki Khabar to Mangalhat police station lane.
Traffic from Bhoiguda Kaman to Puranapool must turn left at N.N. Tailors, proceed towards Gode Ki Khabar, Jinsi Chowrahi, Gulzar Baitak, Jummerath Bazar and Puranapool. Except heavy vehicles, traffic movement will be allowed from Gandhi Statue to Bhoiguda Kaman. Lorries and vans for carrying idols must be parked at Jummerath Bazar ground. They will be allowed to move only after midnight. Vehicles from Puranapool must be parked in Rahimpura lane. Vehicles from Seetharam Bagh and Darusalam can also park in the lanes behind Prakash Theatre.
