Three youths drowned

PALAKKAD: Three youth hailing from Coimbatore, who went to take bath in Bhavani river, near Chavadiyur causeway in Attappady, drowned on Friday.

They have been identified as Shenthil (18), son of Gangadharan of Veerakerala Ganapathy Nagar, Coimbatore; Vignesh (21), son of Shivasubramaniyam of Peraliyoor, Thondamuthur, Coimbatore and Satishkumar (20), son of Dhwarai Swamy of Ponnunallikonar Street, Kizhakkeputhur, Coimbatore.

They came in a motorbike. The accident occurred when one of them fell into a gorge and the others tried to save him.
