Five houses burgled

BANGALORE:
Thieves broke into five houses, one of them in a police quarters, on Friday.
According to a complaint filed by Chandramma, thieves broke open the rear door of her house in the Police Quarters on Mysore Road and stole gold ornaments worth Rs. 24,000. In another incident, thieves removed the tiles of the roof and entered the house of a businessman on Vanivilas Road and decamped with Rs. 25,000 in cash.
According to a complaint filed by Suma Lakshminarayana with the Subramanyapura police, burglars made away with gold ornaments worth Rs. 33,000 from her house. Burglars stole gold ornaments worth Rs. 15,000 from Channama's house on 4th Cross, Sampangi Layout.
