dated September 5, 1955: Rains hit train service

Through running of train services between Cuttack and Bhadrak on the east coast section of the South-Eastern Railway has been interrupted due to heavy rains and rise of water level over certain bridges. The Calcutta-Madras Mail, which left Howrah on September 3, has been diverted via the Kharagpur-Raipur-Vizianagaram route.
