NCC plans sailing expedition

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The number 1 Kerala Naval NCC Unit, Thiruvananthapuram, will organise a sailing expedition in the backwaters from Kollam to Thanneermukkam from September 19 to 30.

The expedition will be for 30 selected naval cadets who will cover a distance of nearly 350 km in two whaler boats.

The expedition will be flagged of from the Thevally jetty at the Ashtamudi lake at 9 a.m. on September 20.
