DHARWAD: The name of the President of India is Abul Kalam Azad. Murli Manohar Joshi was Minister for Water Resources in the National Democratic Alliance: these are by no means answers of students appearing for an examination . These are "nuggets of wisdom" by people's representatives who spoke at meeting held here on Monday for the presentation of State awards to teachers on the occasion of the Teachers' Day. Congress MLA Veeranna Mathikatti referred to the President as "Mr. Abul Kalam Azad" while praising his services . President of the State unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party Jagadish Shettar recalled the contribution of former "Union Minister of Water Resources Murali Manohar Joshi" to education.
