Staff Reporter

CHENNAI: The Anna University Vice-Chancellor, D. Viswanathan, has urged the students to keep away from disruptive forces, which may spoil their educational fortunes.

He regretted that many parents did not pay much attention towards their wards after admitting them to the professional colleges.

He asked them to keep track record of their wards' academic performance by meeting their teachers regularly.

He asked the students to concentrate more on the research and development side apart from acquiring academic excellence.

Scholarships worth Rs. 10.95 lakhs were distributed to students who excelled in university examinations.
