This is part of an initiative by Tata Teleservices to popularise the concept of `True Value Outlets' to increase retail presence in India. The retail initiative envisages stores in two broader formats, True Value Hub and True Value Shoppe. The `True Value Hub' opened in T. Nagar is an Integrated Service Centre with state-of-the-art automated experience point, where customers get exposed to and experience the entire range of products and services offered by Tata Indicom. The key features of the hub are touch-screen system, product display, complaint redressal and bill payments & prepaid account recharge. Inaugurating the hub, , M.A. Madhusudan, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Tata Teleservices - Tamil Nadu and Kerala Circles, said the stress was on providing improved service to potential and existing customers. These exclusive outlets are aimed at achieving visibility, customer touch points and real experience. At the press of a button, customers can listen to different ring tones, browse through the Tata Zone and check out mobile games and wallpapers catalogues. Online systems at the hub allows customer to register complaints and seek resolutions. A 24x7 automated billing machine facilitates customers to view and make bill payments online by cash, cheque or credit card and obtain receipts instantly.
