KOLKATA: League leader Mohun Bagan continued its march towards the Premier Division Calcutta Football League title annihilating Port Trust 3-1 at Kalyani while Mohammedan Sporting was made to eat humble pie by bottom placed George Telegraph at the Salt Lake Stadium here on Tuesday. The 2-1 victory gave George Telegraph its first points after Manik Burman surprised Sporting by a first minute goal. Though Jiten Rai equalised in the 23rd minute, the joy was short-lived as Shyam Rout drove in the winning goal in the 59th minute off a free kick for George. Skipper Mehtab Hussain showed the way for Mohun Bagan with a fine goal in the 27th minute. It was jolted by Sujit Dey's 61st minute strike. Thereafter Mohun Bagan tightened its grip and struck twice in the later part through substitutes Dipendu Biswas and Jerry Zirsanga. Our Special Correspondent
