Election panel clears orders on PRC

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: The State Election Commission (SEC) on Tuesday said it had no objection to the Government issuing follow-up orders implementing the original GO 213 on the Pay Revision Commission (PRC), which was issued on August 27.

Debabrata Kantha, SEC secretary, handed over a letter to this effect to P.V.V. Satyanarayana, Hyderabad City JAC chairman.

Mr. Satyanarayana said in a press release that the implementation process would now start with the SEC's clearance. He expected the Government to issue two GOs on HRA and scale fixation.

He recalled that the State JAC leaders had called on the SEC, A.V.S. Reddy, last week with a request for giving clearance, as Government employees were agitated over the delay in getting the benefit of revised pay scales.
