Celebration time at Sparsha
A HAPPY OCCASION: Actor Auditya with a radio jockey at `Sparsha' studio.
THE SNOBS may look down upon Kannada film music but a satellite radio channel dedicated to this genre has completed one year.
And celebrated the event on the ground and on air.
Sparsha is the Kannada channel on World Space and it has lined up several special programmes.
Visiting the celebrations were Kannada film stars of the younger generation, Auditya and Ananya Kasaravalli, child actor and director Kishan (featured recently in The Hindu Metro Plus) and veteran actress Sowcar Janaki.
Programmes featuring them will be aired on the radio as also Kishan's dreams of becoming the world's youngest film director.
