Plea to exempt city from poll code

HYDERABAD: The Begumpet corporator and MCH standing committee member, G.R. Linga Murthy, has appealed to the State Election Commission (SEC) to exempt Hyderabad from the election code of conduct since it was not connected to the forthcoming municipal elections in any way. n a memorandum to the SEC, the TDP leader pointed out that due to the code many important civic works were affected.
