THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Candidates for the forthcoming elections to the City Corporation Council may have to face a few blunt questions from the electorate. The Federation of Residents Associations Thiruvananthapuram (FRAT) is organising a series of interactions with candidates to seek their views on addressing ward-level problems. The federation leadership has approved a questionnaire to be addressed to each candidate during the interaction. The questionnaire seeks information on the candidate's experience in public work and the reasons for contesting the elections. It calls for an assessment of the development works carried out in the ward and suggestions to tackle problems.
The FRAT central committee has chalked out a regional-level programme to cover all the 86 wards in the corporation. The interactive series is expected to take off on September 11.
