Stone-throwing: four youths held

Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD: The Sanjeevareddynagar police on Tuesday arrested four youngsters in connection with the stone-throwing incident involving two communities behind Sarathi Studio at Tawakkalnagar on Monday night.

The West Zone police condemned the rumours that the clash was a consequence of a dispute over erection of a Ganesh pandal.

According to them, two youth groups clashed over a minor accident that led to stone throwing by two communities.

The situation was completely under control, the police said. Four persons belonging to the two groups were remanded to judicial custody, the police added.
