Teenagers with the right attitude
Staff Correspondent
BANGALORE:
It was not a beauty pageant. It was all about testing the intelligence and general knowledge of youngsters . The regional finals of "Teenager of The Year", sponsored by Teenager magazine of Mumbai, was held at Cluny Convent.
Uamanath K. of Christ Junior College won the crown, Ramya R. of Cluny High School, Jalahalli, was first runner-up and Spita B.M. of Ryan International School, Jalahalli, was crowned second runner-up. One of the questions posed to the young men and women was what they will like to eliminate from India. The most common answer? Poverty and unemployment. The young sure do have the right attitude.
