Call to students on eye donation

"Children must have a nutritious diet"

THENI: Students should actively participate in campaigns on eye donation among the public, as such a deed would facilitate two visually impaired persons to get sight, said Collector Rajesh Lakhoni.

Inaugurating a two-week long eye donation camp held in Bodinaickanur near here on Thursday, he said 2.70 lakh children in the country were visually impaired and about 9.2 million others have been struggling with eye defects.
