CHANDIGARH: Twenty seven-year-old Deepender Singh Hooda, son of the Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, will be the Congress nominee for the Rohtak Lok Sabha seat, which was vacated after the latter got elected as MLA from the Kiloi Vidhan Sabha constituency in May this year. The by-election is slated for September 28. Mr.Bhupinder Singh Hooda had represented Rohtak in the Lok Sabha four times. According to Deepender's bio-data, he returned to India recently from the United States where he was working as Senior Manager (Airline Strategy and Distribution Consultant) with Sabre Holdings. He has participated in various Congress events and functions. He has also participated in all the election campaigns in Rohtak Lok Sabha and Kiloi Vidhan Sabha Constituencies during last 15 years as a student, a party propagandist, a party leader and organiser.
