ONGOLE: The Superintendent of Police, N. Balasubramanyam, has appealed to the people to inform the police about the movement of any unidentified persons under suspicious circumstances and help the police nab them. In a press statement here on Thursday, he said that there is information about the movement of anti-social elements in the town. He asked the landlords to inform the police before letting their premises to young people in the age group of 18-25 years or to couples without children. He also asked them to keep a watch on the movements of their tenants and inform police if they get any suspicion. They can inform police by calling telephone numbers 100 or 1090 and give information in the nearest police station, SI or DSP. He said the police were taking these precautionary measures to prevent law and order problems and sought the cooperation of the people. The landlords, who had already let out their houses to such suspicious people, should also inform the police.
