MANGALORE: For a policeman, each posting is a challenge. Pressures that come with the job is something that an individual has to deal with, Inspector-General of Police (Western Range) K.S. Suresh Babu has said. Speaking at farewell function organised for Soumendu Mukherjee, outgoing Superintendent of Police, here on Tuesday, he said the higher one goes in the department, more lonely he or she becomes. It is important for individuals to deal with such loneliness induced by professional reasons and not succumb to it. H.V. Parshwanath, Deputy Commissioner, called for better coordination between the revenue and police departments. Mr. Mukherjee said he can look back on his 11-month tenure with sense of satisfaction. Mr. Babu felicitated Mr. Mukherjee and his wife Sudeshna Mukherjee on this occasion.
