Power cut

CHENNAI: Power supply will be suspended in Virugambakkam, Mannady, Flower Bazaar, Chintadripet, Ayanavaram, Porur and Kundrathur on September 10 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for maintenance work.

Mahotsavam

Sri Oppiliappan Pattabhisheka Raman Kainkarya Samithi, North Ramnagar, Madipakkam, is celebrating Avatara Dina Mahotsavam till September 16 at the Oppiliappan temple. Workshop on open source softwares

Tamil Nadu Science and Technology Centre is organising a one-day workshop and exhibition "Free Open Source Softwares" in commemoration of the Software Freedom Day on September 10. The programme is organised in association with the Indian Linux User Group, Chennai Chapter. There will be a free demonstration on "How to Install Linux Operating System on a hardware platform". The programme will be open from 10.30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
