Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: Hindi film actor Sunil Shetty released greeting cards for Diwali, Chirstmas and New Year here on Thursday. He was participating at the launch of ITC's SOS Children's Village of India greeting cards for the current season.

In all, there are 82 new designs and for the first time, ITC has introduced 13 designs of assorted boxes and five designs of desktop calendars for the festive season.

Mr. Shetty said he has been rendering a helping hand to various charitable organisations. SOS Children's Villages of India is in the forefront of not only providing shelter to homeless children, but giving each child an education for better life. Mr. Shetty said ITC will serve as a role model for the other companies.

ITC's (Gifting, Greeting and Stationery Business) Chief Executive Officer, Chand Das, said: "We have created a wide range of SOS Children's Village of India greeting cards, assorted boxes and calendars keeping in mind the varied choices of people. As against 3.2 million cards sold last year, we expect to sell six million cards this season," he added.

He urged individuals and companies to come forward and buy the cards.
