LARGE CROWD: Devotees at the Holy Shrine of Our Lady of Health in city on Thursday. Photo: P. V. Sivakumar
HYDERABAD: Thousands of pilgrims from all over the State made a beeline to the Holy Shrine of Our Lady of Health, Khairatabad, for the Annual Feast of Mother Mary here on Thursday. The day marked the conclusion of the nine-day Novena prayers. The devout, cutting across religious faiths, came in large numbers from early in the morning and the steady stream of devotees continued all day. Undeterred by the sudden downpour, the crowd swelled towards the evening when the traditional car procession with the Statue of Mother Mary was taken out. Various churches from the twin cities had offered the Holy Mass on all the nine days of Novena.
