CET seat selection

BANGALORE: The Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell will begin the Casual Vacancy Round seat selection process on Friday for medical, dental, Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy courses with the counselling for physically disabled, NCC and sports category candidates.

For physically disabled category candidates, the process will begin at 3 p.m. One Dental and one Ayurveda seat each will be available for selection. For NCC students, the seat selection will begin at 4 p.m. One Ayurveda, two Homoeopathy and one Unani seats will be available for selection. Under sports category (5 p.m.), there will be two medical and one dental seats available for selection, the CET Cell said.

Nursing

The seat selection process for admission to 1st year B.Sc Nursing, B. Pharm and BPT courses in government colleges and for government seats in private colleges for 2005-06 will be held on the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences premises from September 15 to September 20.

For 1st B.Sc Nursing, seat selection for special category, physically handicapped, NCC, Sports, and others will be held from 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. on September 15.
