Three consultants selected

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: The Bangalore Development Authority has selected three consultants to come up with a plan to divert excess rainwater from lakes in Bommanahalli and Krishnarajapuram city municipal councils (CMCs).

The consultants have been given 10 days to come up with a plan.

The best of the plans would be presented to the Government, BDA Commissioner M.N. Vidyashankar told The Hindu.

The Chief Minister on Monday had directed the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) to appoint consultants to study the diversion of excess rainwater from these lakes after visiting the affected areas.
