Lahore: Top seed Sumit Prakash Gupta downed compatriot Kinshuk Sharma to lift the boys' title while fellow Indian Mythri Prerna Appineni went down valiantly to Khunpak Issara of Thailand in the final of the girls' singles event in the ITF junior tennis championship here.

Sumit won 3-6, 6-3, 6-3, while Issara won 7-5, 5-7, 6-7(8). — UNI
