Direct admission to trade courses in ITI

DHARMAPURI: There will be direct admission to seats in multi-skilled trade courses in the Dharmapuri Government ITI on September 15.

A Collectorate statement issued here on Saturday said that the total number of seats available was 30. Of this, 14 seats will be for Backward Classes, two for Most Backward Classes, two seats each for SC/ST and denotified communities and 10 seats under General category. The eligibility criterion is a pass in Plus Two with allied subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The age of the candidates must be from 14 to 40 years. The selection will be based on merit and reservation and 30 per cent reservation will be given to women candidates.

Stipend for candidates

All eligible candidates seeking admission to the above seats must attend the interview on September 15 with their original educational certificates.

Selected candidates will be provided with a stipend of Rs. 50 per month for (BC and MBC) candidates, Rs. 150 per month for SC and ST candidates and Rs. 175 per month for candidates belonging to denotified communities.
