NEW DELHI: Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti will be launching a certificate course on "Gandhi and the contemporary world" in collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on Sunday. Aimed at creating awareness about the Father of the Nation, the course will be provided in the distance education mode.
Though beginning with a certificate level programme, advanced level courses leading
Union Human Resource Development Minister Arjun Singh will be launching the course, with the function also marking the beginning of year-long programmes on "Gandhi and the Contemporary World".
