NEW DELHI: The alleged kingpin of cement adulteration racket in the Capital has been arrested by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Delhi police. The accused cheated many cement companies by taking orders on their behalf as their stockist or agent but never paid them. He had also grabbed the properties belonging to a particular cement company on the basis of forged documents. According to the police, the Anti-Land and Building Racket Section of the EOW had received a complained from M/S Shree Cement saying that Rajender Goel, proprietor of M/S Chintpurni Enterprises, had cheated the company of several crores and had also grabbed its three properties. A case was registered at IP Estate police station and investigations taken up by a team.
