KOZHIKODE: The Zone 21 of the Indian Jaycees will organise a zone-wide `national level talent search competition' for 11th and 12th standard students on September 13. The zone comprises the districts of Kozhikode, Malappuram and Palakkad. The exam centres for the competition will be Koilandi, Kottakkal and Palakkad. The competitions, organised national-wide in 23 zones by Indian Jaycees, is part of efforts to find talented youngsters in the country and to encourage and recognise them for more endeavours, Jaycees Zone 21 president E. Prakash said. The top three will get cash prizes of Rs. 2,000, Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 500 in addition to certificates. Environment summit
A global environment summit for students will be organised under the auspices of the OISCA International South India Chapter at Gokulam Public School, Vadakara, on October 8 and 9.
