Talent search contest

KOZHIKODE: The Zone 21 of the Indian Jaycees will organise a zone-wide `national level talent search competition' for 11th and 12th standard students on September 13.

The zone comprises the districts of Kozhikode, Malappuram and Palakkad. The exam centres for the competition will be Koilandi, Kottakkal and Palakkad.

National contest

The competitions, organised national-wide in 23 zones by Indian Jaycees, is part of efforts to find talented youngsters in the country and to encourage and recognise them for more endeavours, Jaycees Zone 21 president E. Prakash said.

Cash prizes

The top three will get cash prizes of Rs. 2,000, Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 500 in addition to certificates.

Those who win the zonal level can participate in the national level contest where the top three will get Rs. 11,000, Rs. 7,000 and Rs. 5,000 respectively.
