Baselius Thomas I for Damascus

KOCHI: Baselius Thomas I, Catholicos of the Jacobite Syrian Church, will leave for Damascus to attend the conclusion of the silver jubilee celebrations of the assumption of office of the Patriarch of Antioch and the head of the Syrian Orthodox Church Ignatius Zakka I. The Catholico. leading a delegation, will leave from Nedumbassery airport on Monday, said a press release.

The celebrations, inaugurated in Kochi last September, will conclude next Wednesday.
