PATNA: Here comes the `real' Lalu to take on Railway Minister Lalu Prasad in his own den. Sporting a typical Lalu-style hairdo and identical dresses, Vinod Sharma alias `real' Lalu, nicknamed by his admirers, is determined to fight the former Chief Minister, Rabri Devi, from Raghopur constituency in the Bihar polls. Hailing from Haryana, Mr. Sharma is the national general secretary of Akhil Bhartiya Vikas Dal floated by Dadan Pahelwan, supporter-turned rival of the RJD president. Lalu's look-alike, who is currently touring Bhojpur region highlighting the 15-year `misrule' of the RJD in the State, has struck an instant rapport with the people what with his striking similarity with the RJD chief and rustic accent. Mr. Pahelwan, who introduced Mr. Sharma to reporters here on Friday, told PTI that Mr. Sharma had been proving a great success in spreading his party's message to the people against the RJD's `misgoverance' for a decade and a half. Mr. Pahelwan was a Minister of State in the then Rabri Devi Government, but resigned following differences with the RJD president. He became the State president of the Samajwadi Party on the eve of the last Assembly polls but left it to float his own party.
