KARIMNAGAR: The APSRTC Chairman, Gone Prakash Rao criticised the TRS president and Union Minister, K. Chandrasekhara Rao for his "derogatory and undemocratic'' statements against Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy. Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Mr. Prakash Rao posed a challenge to Mr. Chandrasekhara Rao to win a total of at least 10 municipal wards\divisions in all the five municipalities, which would go for elections from his Karimnagar parliamentary constituency. "If you (KCR) win from at least 10 seats in all the five municipalities, I would resign from my post and work for the cause of Telangana and obey your orders. And if you loose in the elections and fail to win from 10 seats, you should resign as the Union Minister," he dared. He asked the Union Minister to accept his challenge before the municipal elections. He also said that the TRS had won from 26 Assembly segments only because of Dr. Reddy's campaign. Whereas the TRS leaders, A Narendra, Ravindranath Reddy, Vijayasimha Reddy, R. Papa Rao, Deshini Mallaiah have lost in the elections in spite of the TRS president campaigning for them, he reminded.
