Security to ex-MLA: BJP seeks Jana's intervention

HYDERABAD:
The State BJP president, N.Indrasena Reddy, has sought intervention of the Home Minister, K.Jana Reddy, to restore the security provided to former legislator, M. Dharma Rao.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, he charged the police with withdrawing the security being provided to Mr. Rao for the last seven years citing an incident on the Kakatiya University campus.
He claimed that the police also tried to arrest Mr. Rao.
The BJP leader alleged that the Superintendent of Police was trying to please the Congress with a view to hitting the party's prospects in the Warangal corporation elections.
