Kerala promises help to Paramount Airways

CHENNAI:
: The Kerala Government has promised all assistance to Paramount Airways, which will begin scheduled flights to Kochi from September 23, M. Thiagarajan, Managing Director, Paramount Airways, told The Hindu here on Thursday.
Chief Minister Oomen Chandy gave the assurance when Mr. Thiagarajan called on him in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday.
He also requested the airline to extend its proposed New Delhi-Kochi daily flight to Thiruvananthapuram. A Thiruvananthapuram Agenda Task Force has been formed to address the needs of the airline and the tourism industry.
Senior officials, including Tourism Secretary Bharat Bhushan, attended the meeting.
