Two arrested

KOCHI: Two persons were arrested by the `Shadows,' the special police team, for causing nuisance to the public. The accused were arrested from a private bus. The arrested were identified as `Chopra' Rajesh, also known as Joppan, 28, of Chilavanoor and Shibi, alias Shibu, 28, of Corporation Colony, Chilavanoor.

Four held

Four persons were arrested from Jos Junction for beating up a man.

Man dead

K.O. Mathai, 55, a sorting assistant, who had been undergoing treatment in a hospital after sustaining serious injuries in an accident, died on Sunday
