Police players go missing in U.S.

CHANDIGARH: Four Punjab police players who went to the United States to participate in a river rafting championship early this year have gone missing, forcing the Government to order a departmental inquiry into the matter. "Action will be taken against the missing players," Additional Director-General of Police J.P. Birdi said on Tuesday adding that the departmental proceedings against the erring players would be conducted by DIG (Punjab Armed Police).
