New Delhi: Unfazed by the reports that Herschelle Gibbs and Nicky Boje have pulled out of the tour of India again, the Sports Ministry said it was not possible to offer a blanket assurance to the tainted South African cricketers that they won't be detained for their alleged involvement in the match-fixing scandal. Talking to UNI, the Joint Secretary, Sports, S. Krishnan said, ``when we were approached by the South African High Commission, we made it clear that we can't stop an inquiry into the matter. "Law of the land would take its own course and hence it is not possible to give them assurance that they won't be detained." UNI
