HYDERABAD: The Congress Party has taken serious view of the `intemperate and lowly language' of the two Union Ministers, K. Chandrasekhara Rao and A. Narendra, and is planning to take up the issue with the AICC president, Sonia Gandhi and the Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh. Party leaders are shocked at the talk of bloodshed by the two leaders heading the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) since they continue to be UPA partners and are part of the Union Government. Apart from the general condemnation of the statements of the two Ministers, Congress leaders felt that the former crossed the `Lakshmana Rekha' of decency. The AICC secretary, P. Sudhakar Reddy, told the media on Tuesday that the law would take its own course if the TRS leaders tried to incite violence. The PCC president, K. Keshava Rao and the Chief Minister, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, refused to join issue with the TRS leaders on the grounds that "it would be below dignity even to talk about their statements." The Minister for Information, Mohd. Ali Shabbir, said, "They have gone mad. Who will approve of this talk in the civilised world?" The PCC has already faxed clippings of newspaper reports to the AICC urging a rethink on the utility of having the TRS leaders in the Cabinet. A team of chairpersons of corporations is planning to visit New Delhi seeking their dismissal from the Cabinet. The PCC president said, "The democratic people of Telangana will teach them a bitter lesson."
