Indian Airlines' net profit at Rs. 28 cr. in Q1

TIRUCHI: Indian Airlines has recorded a net profit of Rs. 28.45 crore in the first quarter of 2005-06 not withstanding a hike in aviation turbine fuel. The airline posted a net profit of Rs. 1.60 crore, a record for July. During the same period last fiscal, the airline had suffered a loss of Rs. 9.85 crore, says a press release.
