BPR opens job opportunities

THANJAVUR: Business process re-engineering (BPR) in the banking sector has opened various job opportunities for young graduates in banks said Ramanan, Deputy General Manager (DGM), Indian Bank, here on Monday. Addressing the students of Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) National College, Mr. Ramanan said BPR was nothing but restructuring in banks. Arul Johnson, Career Development Centre, Hyderabad, said the opening of the insurance sector for private participation had already created 25,000 jobs. Telecom, retail market and the manufacturing sector offered a lot of job opportunities. Rajadurai, Principal, ICFAI National college, also spoke.
