Ranka group forays into retailing

BANGALORE: Ranka group has made a foray into retail, coming up with "Pennywise", branded budget outlets across the country. The first outlet is on Hosur Road and another is coming up at Marathahalli, both in Bangalore. "Pennywise" will stock and display multiple brands such as Levis, Adidas, Indigo Nation, Dockers, United Colors of Benetton, Pepe, Scullers and Nike. The investment in the outlets is Rs. 2 crore.
