SHIMLA: Higher reaches of Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday received a fresh spell of moderate snowfall while lower parts of the State were lashed by rain and thundershowers. Reports said Kunjum Pass, Sarchu Top and Lady of Keylong mountain tops in Lahaul Spiti district received moderate snowfall for the second day on Tuesaday, bringing a sharp drop in the minimum and maximum temperatures. The Dhauladhar mountain ranges in Kangra and other mountain passes also experienced fresh intermittent snowfall, while widespread rainfall was reported from several parts of the State during the last 24 hrs. Shimla and its surrounding areas experienced rain for the second day on Tuesday, forcing people to take out their woollen clothes.
